This power/serial clip provides both external power input and a serial port for GeoExplorer 2008/3000 series handhelds. The 9-pin DE-9 serial port can be used to unput real-time corrections, or to connect a laser rangefinder or other external device to the handheld, or it can be used to output GPS data to another device. The power connector on the clip allows use of a compatible external power source such as the GeoExplorer 2008/3000 Series Vehicle Power Supply, 12V - 24V Input (PN 70934-00).

The GeoExplorer 2008/3000 series power/serial clip is not compatible with previous GeoExplorer series handhelds.
