NAViSEER Personnel Tracking System is a Dead Reckoning (DR) device worn by on-foot personnel so their movements and locations can be tracked - even in areas where GPS signals are not available, such as inside buildings, tunnels, caves and in areas with very dense foliage overhead. NAViSEER allows seamless tracking with smooth transitions from using GPS signals to using the NAViSEER dead reckoning capability. NAViSEER communicates back to 2D or 3D visualization consoles with integrated Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities. Our SEER3D Software provides stunning 3D visualizations of tracked personnel as they move through GPS-denied areas, including the use of transparent "walls" which allows personnel movements to be visually tracked within a 3D building model.
NAViSEER offers a lightweight, accurate, long range and low power solution for GPS and
GPS-denied environments. This solution has many potential applications, including military,
law enforcement, firefighters, miners and industrial workers, offering a comprehensive solution for tracking on-foot personnel. NAViSEER utilizes a combination of GPS and DR hardware technologies with a unique set of proprietary algorithms to produce location
data in real time. |
|
When GPS is available, the DR functions are automatically calibrated continuously. When GPS is unavailable, DR takes over. NAViSEER advanced motion classification algorithms analyze movement and compensate when the user is moving backward, sideways, running, or just moving in place.
The NAViSEER unit is designed to be integrated with other electronics, such as military GPS receivers and radios. Firmware is reprogrammable in place by a host system. The result of this SEER advancement in personnel tracking will be precise monitoring and positioning with accuracy to less than 2% of distance traveled. NAViSEER provides a reliable navigation solution for personnel that does not require sensors on the legs or feet and can readily co-exist with equipment normally carried by a soldier or other user. |
KNOW WHERE THEY ARE!
NAViSEER Personnel Tracking System is a small, wearable, lightweight device that allows
on-foot personnel to be tracked and located in both GPS and GPS-denied areas, such as inside buildings, tunnels, mines and dense urban environments. Situational awareness is key to any successful operation. Movement and location of NAViSEER-equipped personnel can
be tracked via our SEER3D software, a quick and easy tool for constructing a virtual 3D environment of the tactical scenario, down to a specific building floor and body orientation of
the individual. SEER3D enables commanders to visualize the location of their personnel in GPS-denied areas. Designed to work with most digital radios and external GPS
receivers, NAViSEER enables enhanced situational awareness with visualization of the location of deployed assets accurate to within 2% of distance traveled.
FEATURES
• Quickly create 3D wireframe visualizations of buildings of any size and shape accurate to the
number of floors and quickly add more buildings to reflect a changing tactical situation
• Quickly initialize first response team members arriving at the site and/or manually insert assets already onsite into the visualization
• Clearly recognize the specific floor where deployed assets are located
• Clearly view body orientation, whether stationary and when moving
• Label each avatar by name or other moniker
• Manually position virtual vehicles around the scene for better tactical picture of deployment scenario
• In addition to real-time viewing, review tracking paths stored in data logger for post-incident reviews, training, etc.
• Clearly differentiate groups of participants with different colored avatars
– e.g., blue for police, black for SWAT, white for firefighters, etc..
• Automatically designate building faces with letter identifications - A,B,C,D - etc.
• User selectable visual themes |

The AccuSense Chemical Recognition System was developed in response to First Responder requirements for a small, stable, reliable and portable chemical detection system. AccuSense will detect, monitor and accurately identify hundreds of potentially harmful airborne substances. AccuSense will effectively detect a wide range of chemicals with a very low rate of false positives (<1%) in comparison to any competitive product.
AccuSense incorporates a broad range of unique characteristics, with the rare ability to learn and enter new chemicals and compounds into memory. This allows for a virtually limitless ability to identify chemicals at concentrations in the very low parts per million (ppm) range (chemical dependent). The identification of chemicals can be performed at a location remote from the actual device via wireless communications. Therefore, human intervention is kept to a minimum.
The capability of AccuSense to quickly analyze and compare data from its 2 Gas Chromatography (GC) columns, with accurate and timely response in a portable product, is an absolutely unique breakthrough. If a substance or vapor is recognized as different from air, AccuSense is capable of detecting it. Furthermore, the AccuSense can identify up to 16 chemicals per sample and display their respective concentration levels – another feature making the AccuSense unique in the chemical detector marketplace. The AccuSense operates on a 3 minute sample cycle, so chemical analysis results are quickly available to the user. |

Environmental confusers and masking agents have been known to confound other chemical detection technologies. AccuSense is different in that it uses proprietary two dimensional (2D) filtering algorithms, which enable the system to analyze and identify both confusers and masking agents – along with potentially hazardous chemicals.
AccuSense has a simple user interface and is designed for setup and operation by non-technicians. Once powered up and operating, no further human intervention is required – as long as power and communications are maintained.
AccuSense technology enables an extremely accurate, cost effective means of detecting and identifying multiple chemicals simultaneously in a field deployable package. In short, AccuSense brings laboratory results to the field in a portable package. The device measures 15" x 12" x 6" and weighs approximately 15 pounds with an internal radio and battery pack. A laptop PC attached directly or wirelessly is used for analysis and presentation of the results. |
