CompassTools Inc.

Steve has been with CompassTools Inc. since 1991. He began his career as a sales manager covering Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. In 1998 he was named to the Representative Council for Honeywell’s SSEC division. After working as the sales manager for 13 years, Steve was named CEO of both the Colorado and Indiana offices in 1994. Since this time, he has expanded CompassTools’ Trimble territory to cover Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota in addition to the territories of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and western Texas already covered. One of Steve’s most recent accomplishments was the 2006 creation of an Autodesk division of CompassTools. This division is a Standard Value Added Reseller (VAR) for Autodesk Geospatial products to service and support commercial and government customers in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. This year he was named to the Laser Technology advisory panel.

David Siddle

David Siddle joined the GIS industry in 1996. Transitioning to GIS was easy with his background in Water/waste water, Oil and gas pipeline, plus managing open pit mines / sand and gravel operations. University of Colorado: Geology and Business. Currently Colorado Sales Manager for CompassTools Inc, based in Centennial Colorado.

Ben Hochman

Ben is an account representative at CompassTools, based out of the Centennial Colorado office. He graduated in 2006, with a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Denver, and now uses his education to manage the Autodesk division and provide inside support to the outside salesman and their clients in each territory. Ben has been with CompassTools since 2007, originally hired as an Autodesk inside salesman to help clients understand how to bridge-the-gap between CAD and GIS. He has experience working with a variety of applications such as Terrasync, Pathfinder Office, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and CartoPac, which allows him to integrate a number of solutions both out in the field and back in the office.

Brandon Tourtelotte

Brandon has a background in the world of GIS, satellite imagery, and international geospatial datasets. He is born and raised in the Twin Cities, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in GIS. Early in his GIS career he performed technical production work and custom cartography. He later sold global GIS datasets to customers around the world, for several years. He brings to CompassTools a passion for people, the Upper Midwest, GIS, mapping, and excellent customer service. Brandon is well-versed in all of our product lines. He looks forward to discussing workflows and mapping with customers in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Ian Reed

Codi Chiles

Codi is a sales support manager for CompassTools in Centennial Colorado. Working closely with the regional sales managers and providing customer service. She graduated in 2007, with a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Denver. Codi has been full time with CompassTools since 2004, managing shipping, warranties, partner relations, order processing and inventory. She is planning to continue her education with a Master's degree in Acconting.

Jackie Bartels

Jackie handles marketing communications for CompassTools. Working closely with our partners to promote and advertise our products. She graduated in 2007, with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and an Advertising emphasis from the University of Texas. Jackie has been with CompassTools since 2008, managing the website, rental fleet, training, event coordination and in house graphic design.

Sarah Wolf

Sarah works as an Accounts Receivable Specialist for CompassTools. She has a Bachelor or Science Degree in Business with an Accounting Specialization from International Business College. Sarah has been with CompassTools since 2004 and handles the placement of orders to our vendors, invoicing our customers and various other accounting functions.

Kathy Davis

Kathy joined CompassTools, Inc in 2004 with 15 years prior accounting experience at the mother ship company, TX Sales. In addition to maintaining Accounts Receivable, Kathy is responsible for accounting process and other interoffice operations.
